Our 0–2 years provision at Eljoy is rooted in the EYFS Development Matters Birth–3 age band, focusing on secure attachments, sensory exploration, and early communication.

Children develop Personal, Social and Emotional skills through warm, responsive relationships, learning to trust adults and feel safe. Communication and Language is supported through songs, stories, gestures, and early words, while Physical Development is encouraged through crawling, climbing, grasping, and early self-care routines.

The environment features continuous provision with the three prime areas clearly demarcated, allowing exploration and independent choice. Daily routines include sensory play, short group times, flexible nap times, a rolling snack system, and care delivered with dignity in a private changing area. Children also enjoy regular access to a dedicated outdoor garden.
